Context Window
Technical meaning. A context window is the amount of information an AI model can consider at one time while generating an answer.
Why it matters. How much information an AI can keep in mind at once.
Where people see it. You see it discussed when comparing models, uploading long documents, summarizing meetings, or building AI assistants.
Small business example. If you give an assistant a policy manual, call notes, and a customer email, the context window affects how much it can use at once.
Mistake to avoid. Do not assume a bigger context window means perfect memory or perfect accuracy. Important facts can still be missed.
